There's an amazing passage in Paradise Lost, where all of the Angels are agreeing with Lucifer, but one calls out that he's leaving the group, that these guys are all nuts. Milton points out that this takes the most courage of all, to be a lone voice of dissent in a large group. I hope I have that kind of courage if I ever need it.
